MAiX Go wifi connection issue

Hi,

I hope someone can help as I’m getting frustrated trying to get my new MaixPy Go to connect to wifi.

I keep getting “couldn’t init nic esp8285 ,try again please”.

I have tried the example to load an image, which fails as above. I read that you have to set pin 8 high to enable wifi, so I did using the following code:
fm.register(8, fm.fpioa.GPIOHS0)
wifi_en=GPIO(GPIO.GPIOHS0,GPIO.OUT)
wifi_en.value(0)
time.sleep_ms(200)
wifi_en.value(1)
time.sleep(2)

I have tried using code extracted from the demo_send_pic.py but still no success, it just continually fails to connect, that is I don’t believe it ever gets into the position to run the connect method.

I have the M1W Maix Go and I have connected the provided aerial with the kit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: SOLVED USING CODE FROM DEMO_WIFI_AP_SCAN.PY

Thanks.

Malcolm.
